The 39th International Junior & U23 Regatta in Bratislava once again confirmed its status as one of Europe’s most important development competitions in canoe sprint, bringing together a deep international field at the Zemník venue in Slovakia.
Held at the same course that hosted the 2024 ECA Junior & U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships, Bratislava continued to demonstrate why it has become a key centre for youth international canoe sprint competition.
The 39th International Junior & U23 Regatta will once again bring together many of Europe’s most promising canoe sprint athletes at the Zemník venue in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 22 to 24 May 2026.

The International Canoe Federation has officially confirmed that approved Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN) holders of Russian and Belarusian passports will now be included in the official Olympic Qualification Ranking system, following the publication of a new addendum to the federation’s AIN policy.
